As the current funding for Scarborough Cares winds down, we are looking for alternative sources of funds to keep Cares going, keep it quality and keep it free for everyone. We’re wondering if any of our readers have experience with crowd funding? What is crowd funding you ask? Good question. Basically it is a lot of people donating a little bit of money to help an idea reach it’s goal.

If one of our supporters has any experience with this, do you have any tips? Rockethub has been recommended (and we like their motto: Launch, Fund and Fly!) but we’re wondering if there are any other great websites out there geared specifically towards education, kids and/or digital media literacy.
